Farcry 5 Continue Vs New Game
If you've finished the main story I think you should now be able to re-set all the outposts back to "hostile", or you can just continue to finish the outposts then go on to NG+ I'm not sure, but I think if you go straight to NG+ it may wipe out all previous progress, but if someone has tried that and knows differently please do comment.
Personally, after finishing the game I re-played all the outposts to practice different methods of doing it and with different weapons. That was simply because it seemed that with NG+ Infamous it obviously gets a bit more difficult and the experience is worth it in my view in practising your skills.
NG+ is now my 3rd run through the game, but I'm only about 60 % complete at the moment, so not sure what happens at the end, that is to say if you also get the "reset outpost" option as well. I assume you do, but again if anyone has reached that point they can confirm.

I think it's safe to assume NG+ has the same format.
Thank you for the reply. I am just really confused how they put outpost master and new game plus modes at the end of the game, but if you do one, it seems like you can't do the other one. :s if anyone has more comment on this pls feel free to add!

I agree. That seems logical to me also.
Morning all, when playing Far Cry 4 i finished that as well and started the game over and went to the the Dark Side (or chose everything the opposite i had b4), and i didn't finish certain things and it was fine. Far Cry 5 will do the same your ok.
how many levels of new game plus are there? like is it one time or u can play new game plus 3,4,5, to endlessly?

According to the "read me" note at the start of NG+ it only warns you that you can't change the level of difficulty (once selected at the start) in mid game. If you want to do that, it tells you that you have to start a new game.
Therefore, in accordance with that note, it's seems to be telling you that you can re-play NG+ as many times as you like, just selecting a different level of difficulty if you wish.
Haven't got to the end yet, but I'm assuming you will also have the "Taskmaster" option at the end, as you do with the normal game. Since you're still on NG+ at that point it should also let you keep all your original weapons that you'd built up, including any helicopters or armed trucks/cars you'd bought.
